Interior design is rustic elegance using warm earth tones to blend with the unique architecture.Sierra Mar Restaurant, a glass structure, features regional Californian cuisine complemented by a Wine Spectator award-winning wine list. The menu for the four-course prix fixe dinners changes nightly.There are heated swimming and basking pools. Activities include nature hikes, spa treatments, yoga, meditation, star-gazing lectures and Saturday gatherings.

From San Francisco-take Hwy 101 south to Hwy 156 west. From 156 take Hwy 1 south to Big Sur. Hotel is located on west side of Hwy across from Ventana Inn. From Monterey Airport-turn right onto Hwy 68 from Olmstead Road. Follow signs to Hwy 1 south. Big Sur. Stay on Hwy 1 south thru Carmel, approximately 33 miles. Turn right onto the entrance of Post Ranch Inn, across the Hwy from Ventana Inn entrance.
